We really enjoyed staying here! The apartment felt just like home. The master bedroom mattress and bedding was exceptionally comfy. The kitchen is fully stocked and the place was very clean. We greatly appreciated all the extra little touches Amy included in the apartment. She provided a wealth of information including things to do in the area and local restaurants. The bagel shop at the entrance to the neighborhood is delicious. We had no issue with noise from the factory across the river. We enjoyed reading about its fascinating history and the view of the river is beautiful. We highly recommend Amy’s apartment! It’s very obvious how much effort she puts into caring for the space and her guests. Staying at any of Amy’s Airbnb locations is at the top of our list.

Great experience! The place was beautiful and perfect for our stay. Easy to get in and out of, lots to do with walking distance, and easily accessible to the rest of Lynchburg. Would recommend!

We LOVED the views. Spent 2 nights. First night was a travel day so we grabbed some food and relaxed. Second day was spent checking out Lynchburg then hanging out by the fire pit. Bed was comfy and the caboose was outfitted with everything we needed plus. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Incredible home ! So comfortable to be in with plenty of space. Awesome back porch to enjoy. The 2 car garage is definitely a bonus if you need to use it. We walked from the house to downtown in about 15 minutes. Not bad at all. Just be ready for the Lynchburg hills.

What a gorgeous day spent here. We thoroughly enjoyed Lynchburg. James Station was walking distance to town, and reflective of the beautiful area. Hosts were kind and responsive with a great eye for design. Maximized novelty space definitely worth the price. Thank you :)

This was my third time staying at this house and it was great, as usual! I do wish the dining room chairs were more comfortable as we play a lot of games in this annual trip and the metal-backed chairs hurt after a while, but otherwise it's amazing. We keep coming back and the host is super friendly, helpful, and responsive.

Very nice, updated and spacious condo. The second bedroom is down a small hallway that gives extra privacy. We were able to walk to all the amenities and enjoy them with no difficulties. I especially enjoyed the deck that had a screened and unscreened area so I could enjoy the outdoors without worrying about bugs. The building is at the end of the road so no worries with passing traffic. I highly recommend staying here.

I’ve stayed here a few times because I travel for work and always travel through Lynchburg. I look forward to my stays here. The place is unique, beautiful, well appointed for my needs. During the evenings, the surroundings are serene with beautiful sunsets. I was greeted each evening by 5-6 deer too. Highly recommend.

My husband, son and I loved our stay at James Station! We specifically chose this location because of the caboose and it did not disappoint. Clean, cute and plenty to do around and in the surrounding area. Would recommend and stay again!
