We love welcoming people to the Lynchburg area! You will have control over your own temperature. 🚗 PARKING: You may park up to 2 vehicles in the driveway directly in front of the cottage entrance. 🌳 OUTSIDE ✓ Front: basketball goal, shaded yard ✓ Back: patio with bistro table, dining table and chairs, large yard, propane and charcoal grill, bonfire pit. 🔑 CHECK IN: Guests check in at their own convenience anytime after 4pm with a personalized code. FOR GUESTS WITH MOBILITY ISSUES: There are 2 steps up to get into the Cottage, and then everything except the loft area with 2 twin beds is on one level. There is a grab bar in the shower, but not one by the toilet. **Please note: The Cottage is attached to a larger home that the owners stay in but are often traveling. You might see them in the driveway on occasion. Though the home and Cottage are attached, the spaces are completely separate with their own private entrances and a small breezeway separating them. You will have access to the back porch, yard, fire pit, and grill that is shared with the owners. 🐾 PETS: While we love fur babies, we are firm on our no pet policy. 🚙 AREA DAY TRIPS: Popular day trips include Hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains Driving the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway Visiting the Appomattox Courthouse Natural Bridge Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest Virginia Safari Park D-Day Memorial Smith Mountain Lake Liberty University's Snowflex Center (year-round skiing & tubing.)

You'll have private access to the Cottage. The driveway and outdoor spaces will be shared, and you may see the owners. *If your stay is longer than 3 days, you may see the owners accessing their laundry room in the small breezeway/hallway entrance to the Cottage. There is another locked door to keep the Cottage private, but the breezeway between the two will be shared for longer stays.
